I'm desperately trying to get a photo gallery plugin that works. Almost all plugins seem to fail at one pretty important point – showing pictures! Some plugins developed by pure geeks don't even have functionality to upload photos, and others cant show what you have uploaded. My latest try was "Lazyest gallery" which seemed to be pretty ok, until I found out that it only produces thumbnails for 50% of my photos. It is explained that it cant handle large files. Photos in a digital format are usually large, so…?
I will continue to look for a decent gallery plugin. If you know one, please let me know.

You create albums and within them, galleries; you can upload right from your computer, add EXIF data, scan the created directories for new images (which means you can upload new stuff and NextGen will find it all.
I will try that. Seems to work ok on a testsite I have.
